Shqip Up Comedy Festival has built its stage around Albanian-language humour, but its value goes beyond the joke. It creates a night where the Albanian public in Switzerland can meet, hear its language and experience culture without turning it into decoration.
The fifth edition is an anniversary moment. The official site describes a mission connecting diaspora, art, music and community, with room for established names and new voices. This guide makes the practical part easy without confusing the 2026 programme with archived material.

From Zürich HB
S11, S12, S19 and IR36 serve Dietikon. Choose the live departure and do not plan around only the final train.

Travellers holding biometric Kosovo or Albanian passports can visit visa-free for short stays under the 90/180 rule. Check official conditions and document validity before departure.
Switzerland is not EU roaming
An EU plan does not automatically include Switzerland. Check your operator or activate an eSIM before crossing the border.
CHF + card
Use your card as the main plan and keep a small amount of Swiss francs as backup. Do not assume every payment will accept euros.
Late October
Bring a jacket and a rain plan. Comfortable shoes help with the station, bus stop and venue walk.

Save the ticket as a screenshot or in your wallet. Check whether the name must match your document.
